Parian Bust of Prince Albert, Consort of Queen Victoria
Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha (Francis Albert Augustus Charles Emmanuel (26 August 1819 – 14 December 1861) was the husband of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland and was the champion of many cultural advances and public causes from educational reform to the Great Exhibition of 1851.
He died in 1861 at the age of 42 and was ceaselessly mourned by Victoria until her own death in 1901.
This stunning bust commemorates his passing and has a 'Kerr & Co. Worcester' stamp on the back.
